Threat and Error Management

The second part of the RAM-TEM model, Threat and Error Management involves the execution (or operational side) of the plan. We will explore human factors including capabilities and limitations, decision making, and avoiding narrowing windows of opportunity.

The Threat and Error Management portion of RAM-TEM is the execution side of flight operations. This is where we dive even deeper into the human mind and how it works to assess situations, responds with fight, flight, or freeze, and how actions create or mitigate additional problems. We'll also discuss avoiding narrowing windows of opportunity, or "I should have done that when I had the chance," situations.
