AviateSafely is the product of Dave Altman's two favorite professional worlds: flight training and technology. After decades in the cockpit and classroom, he wanted to build tools that make aviation training clearer, more interactive, and more useful to the people doing the work every day.

Built from the cockpit, the classroom, and a genuine love of teaching.

Dave is celebrating 40 years in aviation, a career that has taken him from early training environments to today's airline flight deck. He is currently a Boeing 737 instructor for a major airline and has accumulated more than 20,000 hours of flight time and instruction given.

AviateSafely began with a practical question: what if the same care that goes into a good briefing, a thoughtful lesson, or a well-run flight school could be supported by modern tools that actually fit aviation? Dave's passion for flight training and his love of technology became the catalyst for a platform built around better learning, stronger safety habits, and complete flight school management.

The goal is not technology for its own sake. It is to help pilots, instructors, and schools spend less energy fighting scattered systems and more energy developing good judgment, confidence, and skill.
